This book is 2 in a 3 book series. It picks up right where we left off in book 1, following Sharon back to Maine for a period of time, then to Arizona again. We get to know Sharon’s family a bit better and also can cheer her personal decisions as the book progresses. The story within a story is back, as well and I very much enjoyed finding out what happened with Shy Dove. Very enjoyable return to the characters and their journeys to find happiness.
Creative talent Marsha DeFilippo gives us part two in a trilogy that just keeps delivering. Her love of writing and for Arizona and its history is on every page.
Back with familiar characters, their lives take unexpected changes. Savored the details as the story continued. As a reader was drawn to the similarities of the two main female characters. Eagerly waiting for book 3.
