Romance is complicated for recently retired and widowed Sharon Peterson. She’s begun a new relationship at her Arizona winter home with fellow snowbird, Hal Jackson, but her grown daughters don’t approve. She’s also confused by her attraction to the contractor who built her house, Joseph Ramos. That had been put on the back burner when she began dating Hal, but Joseph isn’t ready to give up. Making a decision based on what she wants and not doing it for someone else has always been difficult, but this time she’s not as willing to compromise. The hard part, though, is figuring out exactly what and whom it is she does want. Will it be Hal or Joseph or possibly neither?

In this story-within-a-story, we return to Sharon’s dreams of a young Native American woman with whom she may have a past life connection. Shy Dove has romantic and life-altering decisions of her own to make.

Will Sharon and Shy Dove finally find their happily ever after?
